Rev. David Richards is Vicar of St John's.
(David and Carol are not usually around on Fridays because this is their day off.)

Rev. Darren McIndoe is our Curate.
(Darren tends to have Saturday as a day off, but this does change due to other commitments.)

Rev. Desmond Gritten is an Associate Minister.
Desmond was Vicar at St John's, Kenilworth, for over 30 years and since retirement has assisted parishes in Kent and Devon. Desmond and his wife, Valerie, moved to East London in the mid 1990's.

Canon Peter Kolawole is an Associate Minister.
Peter was a Vicar in Lagos and Canon Residentiary of Lagos Cathedral before he retired. Peter and his wife, Dorcas, have retired to London to be close to their family.

Kay Garib is an Assistant Minister with special responsibility for Administration.
(Kay is in the office from Monday to Friday every week.)

Carol Richards is an Assistant Minister with special responsibility for Children and Young People.
(David and Carol are not usually around on Fridays because this is their day off.)

Rosemond Isiodu, Sheva Williams and Maureen Gowrie are our Readers.
Rosemond is trained as a teacher. She has 3 grown-up children. She has a particular ministry to Nigerian Christians and also helps with the Thursday Lunchtime service
Sheva used to work for Sainsburys in Stratford. She now has special responsibility for our Prayer Ministry and for the Healing Cafeé. She is married to Fitzroy and has 5 grown-up children and several grandchildren.
Maureen is a Reader in the Diocese of Trinidad and Tobago, but has permission to work as a Reader here while she lives in Stratford.

Fitzroy Williams and Motie Ramballi are our Vergers.
Fitzroy used to work for Fords. He is married to Sheva.
Motie used to work in a factory in Guyana and he is married to Cheryl.

Our Churchwardens are elected every April at the Annual Meeting. This year (2006/7) they are :-
