James Maddern was Curate at St John's from 2002 to 2006.

St John's was his first posting after leaving Wycliffe Hall theological college, Oxford.

He was married to Katie here at St Johns in September 2005.

James has a love for the outdoors and enjoys spending time walking and climbing.

After leaving St. John's he and his wife set out on an overland drive from London to South Africa.
